🤝 Who we are

Crypto RGV is a crypto education community from the Rio Grande Valley, Texas — and open to the world. We started it for one reason: too many people get their first crypto "education" from a scammer's DM. We'd rather it come from a professional source.

Our curriculum is designed and taught by a University of Texas System graduate — B.Sc. in Computer Science, M.Sc. in Information Technology. Crypto sits at the crossroads of computer science and finance, and every lesson is built with that academic rigor — then written in plain English anyone can follow.

Everything on this site is hand-written — the lessons, the tools, the code. No dropshipped course content, no affiliate links, no "signals group."

💵 Why there are two $10 donations

The course content is free to read. Twice in the curriculum — once at the end of Stage 1 and once at the end of Stage 2 — there's a $10 send test: you donate about $10 of crypto to an official, verified Crypto RGV wallet, and the blockchain confirmation itself is your pass. The first one unlocks Module 2; the second unlocks Module 3 and the trader tools. Think of it like a final exam at school — it covers everything you've learned up to that point, and passing it moves you up a grade.

We're upfront about what this is:

It's the skill being tested. Sending real crypto, on the right network, to the right address, with the exact amount — that is the exam. A practice test with play money wouldn't prove anything.
It's how the site sustains itself. Two donations of ~$10, ever, per member — that keeps the servers, domain, and community running. There is nothing else for sale.
It's never a surprise. Both donations are clearly marked in the curriculum before you start, and each unlock is yours for life.

If anyone ever asks you to send crypto anywhere else in our name — a DM, a "support agent," an "airdrop" — it's a scam. Our addresses appear only inside the lessons, marked as Crypto RGV Verified Wallets.

🔒 Privacy — the short, honest version

What we collect: username, email, name, phone, and city/state at signup.
Where it lives: at Crypto RGV — not on a cloud database.
What we do with it: run your account, verify your send tests, and email you course updates. Never sold, shared, or used for ads.
Want it gone? Message us below and we'll delete your account and data.

Payments are on-chain and public by nature; we never see or hold your keys, and we never ask for your seed phrase.
