Crypto RGV — The Last Bull Run

← Back to site

What actually happened in 2020–2021, in plain English — and what it teaches us.

📖 What happened last time

In April 2020, Bitcoin went through its scheduled "halving" — the event, built into its code, that cuts the amount of new Bitcoin created every day in half. Less new supply, same or growing demand. For months, not much seemed to happen.

Then, roughly 8 months later, the market went vertical. Bitcoin ran first — from around $10,000 to an all-time high near $69,000. And as Bitcoin cooled off, money rotated into smaller coins. That rotation is what traders call "alt season" — a stretch of weeks to months where altcoins produced some of the most extreme gains in market history.

Across coin after coin, the same pattern showed up: most coins "took off" roughly ~250 days after the halving, and produced their biggest gains in the following 2–10 months. Below are ten real examples from that cycle.

Each chart is a stylized illustration of the pattern — flat, halving, takeoff, spike, and the long fall afterward. Scroll and watch them draw.

⚠️ The reality check (read this part twice)

Those numbers are real — but they are cherry-picked winners, chosen in hindsight. For every coin on this list, thousands of others died, got abandoned, or never recovered. Nobody knew in advance which ten to pick, and nobody rings a bell at the top.

This is exactly why our course teaches position sizing (never bet money you can't lose), taking profit on the way up (you don't need the top), and DCA (steady buys instead of one emotional lump). See it applied in our model portfolios →

🔮 What could fuel the next one

These are possibilities, not predictions. Nobody knows what markets will do — including us.

🎓 Learn the skills before the wave

If another run comes, the winners will be the people who were prepared — who knew how to size positions, take profit, and avoid scams. That's what we teach, for free.
